Can not start Microsoft Office Outlook. Can not open the outlook window

Wow I ran into this problem on my Windows XP machine iwth Outlook 2007 and had never seen it.
Found a simple fix. I just opened the run command (Start–>Run) and typed in outlook.exe /resetnavpane
I hit enter and Outlook opened correctly
